Most people never talk about their wills

Yet some of the greatest acts of generosity happen quietly — written into a document few will ever see.

"A will may be private — but its impact should never be invisible."

OUR MISSION

Most giving is based on who asks loudest — Not who deserves the most

For decades, major gifts have flowed through familiar channels — a friend on a board, a neighbor in a cause, or a place of worship that asked repeatedly. These donations often stem from proximity, relationships, or social obligation, not necessarily from a deep analysis of impact.

Over a 40 year career with the Nonprofit sector, I have raised $100 million+ for Nonprofits of all sizes and I have seen how deserving Nonprofits are unable to connect with the donors who are most passionate about their cause.

Will to Charities exist to make legacy giving visible, meaningful, and shared.

FEATURED STORY

She wanted children to keep learning

Margaret teaching children in a classroom

When Margaret passed away at 78, there was no public announcement of a grand donation. No plaque. No ceremony. No headlines.

What she left behind was quieter — and far more powerful.

Margaret had been a schoolteacher for nearly four decades. She never married and lived modestly, but she believed fiercely in education — especially for children who started life with fewer chances. In her will, Margaret left a portion of her savings to a small local nonprofit that ran after-school tutoring programs for low-income children. It wasn't a large sum by most standards — but it arrived at exactly the right moment.

That year, the nonprofit was preparing to shut down two programs due to lack of funding. Margaret's gift kept both alive.

Today, more than 60 children a year receive tutoring, meals, and mentorship through those programs. Several are now the first in their families to attend college.

Margaret never met them. But her belief in learning still shows up — every afternoon, in every classroom.

Her will didn't just distribute assets. It carried forward her life's purpose.
